Vertical magazine, a new off-shoot of STAB, is a publication for adrenaline junkies, extreme-sports addicts, and gamers. With the aim to draw in a new, more diverse, audience, Vertical was looking for a cover, editorial design, and branding.
Gritty textures, dynamic graphics, and striking colour schemes can be found throughout the branding, tying in the true nature of extreme sports. A bold and bright colour-scheme was used for the "Rail Life" article about women in skateboarding, with skate tricks scattered through, used almost as graphic elements of their own.
